    Method 2:

    • Go to My Computer and select the music player, which should show up as a Removable Disk
    • Load another window with your music directorys/songs in
    • Select the music directory and drag it across to the Removable disk window

  5. My player wont play my music
    • Ensure your player has the capability to play the music format you are trying to copy onto the player. There are sample music files available in our other FAQs.
    • Ensure your music is encoded in the correct format. The minimum and maximum bitrates are normally specified in the player specifcations, normally between 56kbps and 256kbps.
    • Ensure you are copying the music onto the player correctly, see the other FAQ on copying music onto your player for more information
    • Ensure your music doesnt require licenses to be copied with the player. Most our players do not have license support, which means some music downloaded from online stores such as the Itunes Store will not function on there players.
    • Ensure the volume is turned up
    • Ensure you are in the Music menu, and not in the voice record menu.

  7. My MP3 Player wont turn on
    • Check you have a brand new battery inserted. We recommend a Duracell or Energizer for the best performance.
    • Check the hold button is turned off
    • Check you are pressing the correct button (circular mode button for MP3, and play button for MP4). Also check the side slide button is up on the MP4 Players.

  8. How can I extend my players battery life?

Want to get more battery life out of your digital audio / portable MP3 player? Consider reducing the length the backlight comes on, or turn off the backlight completely if you are not planning on using the player in the dark. The backlight can suck up a lot of battery power, and if you can read the music titles in low-light situations, save some of that power to help increase its music playing time.
